Since 1967, the Weihrerhof has been part of Lake Costalovara – and the lake has been part of the Weihrerhof. That was the year Cilli and Friedl Pichler opened the hotel by the lake. Since 2005, we, Manuela and Klaus, have continued their story. In 2027, we will celebrate 60 years of the Weihrerhof.
For us, being family-run means more than simply having our name above the door. When you call, you reach us here at the hotel. When you arrive, you are welcomed personally. And many of our guests have been returning to the lake for years.
Perhaps that also has something to do with the fact that we never wanted to become bigger. For us, 23 rooms are enough.

From the sauna straight into the lake
Our boathouse sauna stands directly on the shore of Lake Costalovara. In summer, after your sauna session, you can walk along the jetty and step straight into the lake. And in winter? When the lake is frozen and the ice is safe, our ice hole in the lake awaits.Our SeaSpa also includes an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, salt steam bath and relaxation rooms overlooking the greenery and the lake. There is also our Kneipp stream, fed with water from Lake Costalovara.
The lake is part of our treatments too: BergSea, our own natural skincare line, uses water from Lake Costalovara among its ingredients. We developed BergSea in 2013 together with our South Tyrolean cosmetics partner.
And for those who prefer being on the water rather than in it: rowing boats, pedal boats, SUPs and kayaks are available to our hotel guests directly from our private jetty.
