Weihrerhof is located directly on Lake Costalovara on the Renon plateau in South Tyrol — a nature and wellness hotel with its own lakeside shore, boathouse sauna, SeaSpa and views of the Dolomites.
In summer, you step straight from the sauna house into the water. In winter, through the ice hole. In between are hiking trails that begin right outside the door, quiet hours by the jetty and a kind of peace that has become rare to find.

Run through the forest in the morning while the lake is still asleep. Stand on the Renon mountain at midday with an espresso in your hand. Sit in the boathouse in the evening, aperitivo, water beneath your feet, and feel how far away everyday life suddenly seems.What you experience here grows out of the landscape and out of yourself. Not out of a programme. We, Klaus & Manuela, are always happy to share a personal recommendation. But we do not plan your day for you.

Many things here have intentionally remained small. 23 rooms directly on Lake Costalovara instead of growth at any price. Regional cuisine, natural materials and a respectful relationship with nature on the Renon are not a trend for us. They are simply part of everyday life at Weihrerhof.

Hiking trails start right outside the door. E-bikes are ready at the hotel. SUP boards, kayaks, rowing boats and pedal boats are available free of charge by the lake.
The tennis court lies in the middle of the forest at 1,190 metres above sea level, with a feeling you rarely find anywhere else. In winter, snowshoes, ice skates and curling stones are added to the experience.

Very well! You can reach us easily with the Ritten railway and the cable car to Bolzano. The RittenCard is included in your stay, giving you free access to all public transport.
Yes, Weihrerhof is set right on Lake Costalovara on the Ritten plateau, in a wonderfully quiet and secluded location. The lake access with bathing jetty, boats and sunbathing lawn is reserved exclusively for our guests.
Yes. You can park your car for free either in our spacious outdoor parking area or in the hotel’s own garage. Charging stations for electric cars are available (for a fee) – powered by our own green energy. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Hiking trails start right at the hotel. With the RittenCard, you can travel free of charge to the Rittner Horn for alpine tours. Scenic routes for cycling and e-biking begin almost at our doorstep – ideal for nature lovers and explorers.
