Especially over the southern valleys, low stratus will persist at first, generally breaking up by around midday. Away from these areas, conditions will be fairly sunny with some high cloud.The southern side of the Alps will remain under a weak influence of high pressure within a westerly upper-level flow.
Temperatures will rise to around 2° in the Wipptal and up to 7° in the southern parts of the region.
